Marriage is a ceremony of combination of two families, boy and girl, two communities and culture. Every marriage ritual has its different meaning and Saat Phere is very important ritual of Hindu marriage. In Saat Phere wedding ritual bride and groom both have to round around scared fire with every round bride and groom make a promise to their life partner thus they make seven swear.
It is an ancient wedding ritual in Hindu’s Wedding. During seven rounds wedding couple made seven swear for their up coming life. In the first phere they pray to God for nourishing, food and company of each other so that they could get food. In the second phere bride and groom prays to God for spiritual, physical and healthy life. In the third vow wedding couple ask God for strength for both and wealth. In the fourth phere wedding couple prays for love, affection and respect in regards of each other and their families. In the fifth vow they ask for noble, beautiful and energetic children. In the sixth round wedding couple prays for peaceful long life. In the last vow they pray to God for togetherness, companionship, well understanding and loyalty with each other. Thus Seven vows or Saat Phere is the symbol of dedication in regards of each other.
